My first full-length collection of poems, Nostalgia for Sacrifice, was published in 2013 by David Robert Books. I am also the author of a chapbook, Momentary Vision of the Assistant Meteorologist (Uccelli 2004). My poems have been published in 32 Poems, The Cimarron Review, The Iron Horse Literary Review, The Evansville Review, and other journals. After earning an M.F.A. from the University of Arkansas, I lived and taught in Tokyo for a year before moving to Evansville, Indiana, where I now live with my wife and two children. I am head of the Department of Creative Writing at the University of Evansville and co-editor of the metrical-poetry journal Measure.
